Falling RavenFalling Raven snorted as she moved through these lands, the gypsy vanner mare was pregnant but was not showing yet, She had been attacked and raped several months ago, and she had gotten pregnant, She was white, with raven black spots She had green eyes and her mane and tail were jet black. She had a black and white horn that had an emerald green gem at the base of it, it was obvious the unicorn mare was an element. But she didn't have just one element running through her, She had earth elements and wind and water elementals running through her blood. snorting the female unicorn walked along these lands. Her ears twitched as she heard a cry. She snorted and shook out her long mane, the tip of her horn glimmering dangerously in the sun light. She came to a stop as a brute came into her sights. She pinned her ears back and shifted her daggers, the ground trembled underneath her as she let out a warning.

The large brute stood his sides heaving with the effort of every breath as exhaustion set into his bones from the long run he had overtaken only moments before. He was only just relaxing when a cry entered his ears and every muscle in his body tensed. He turned slowly with a slight sense of alarm. It wasn't often that he had allowed himself to be sneaked up on and the thought that someone caught him off guard was rather unnerving. His eyes lay his doubts to rest as they fell upon the female's bodice. Her black and white form was only a few yards into his line of site but he could make out the curves of her body from here and her stomach swelled only slightly in comparison to the rest of her body but it was enough for him to know that she was with child. He called out to her and made a few steps in her direction, slow and deliberate so that she may know he wished her no harm.
"Hello stranger!" He called to her. "I am Jackal, I govern over the forest of shadows, I am friend." He assured her before giving her a gesture to come closer. He was so out of breath from his run he had barely been able to get the words out. He wondered what a pregnant lady could be doing wandering these dangerous lands alone. It was unbecoming of a man to leave his impregnated mate to roam the lands on her own. If he had known the bastard that would allow such a thing he would surely strike him down for the risk it put this maiden in. That was Jackal for you though. He was the chivalrous of sorts and didn't take lightly to anyone who gave gentlemen a bad name. No one was a gentleman now a days and the thought that the male species had fallen so far made him ill towards his own kind.

Raven pinned her ears back once more as he approached her, and lowered her head slightly showing the tip of her horn. She relaxed slightly when he spoke his name and said he was a ruler over some lands. Maybe it was her lucky day. She snorted and relaxed a little more, swishing her raven tail against her flanks "Hello Jackal I am Falling Raven, Or Raven for short" she stated. She snorted softly. And realized just how tired she was from her travels. She smiled to him.

He stood silently as he studied her movements. She was cautious. He wandered what could have happened to make her so weary of others, but he supposed it was a good thing to be cautious. He moved close enough only to study her at a few feets distance, as was proper for most meetings. "Pleasure to make you acquaintance Raven. You have a lovely name." He said kindly. He was often known to be quite the charmer, flattery was a skill that came with ease for him and he was talented with it's use. He didn't try to coat his words with sugar to ease his voice into another's ears however, no. He simply spoke the truth as he saw it and held no shame in speaking his mind. He was a being of true straightforwardness no matter how offensive his mind could get he rarely regretted the words he spoke. He was not unkind, he simply did not take lightly to liars. He would never be one to lie himself. Still, despite all his noble intent, he was not without flaw. He had a short temper, he was often numb to some key emotions that are most prominent in others, often being sympathy or remorse due to the fact that when he saw someone in a predicament he normally assumed it was karma and that they had done something to otherwise deserve their situation, and remorse because he always felt justified enough in his actions that he wouldn't see the mistake. So yes, he had his issues, issues he didn't acknowledge, however in all he was a decent gentleman and that had been proved over and over again."So Raven, if I may be so bold as to ask, what is it that brings your travel weary self to these lands?" He asked, for it was obvious that she was very well worn with the signs of travel, although he was certain that her pregnancy didn't help in the matter. He had pretty much guessed that she wasn't from around here with the different colors of dirt that painted her hooves, he could only make the assumption that she had traveled through many different sorts of terrains. Thusly his current opinion had been stated.

Raven's eyes softened as he spoke of how nice it was to meet her. She smiled slightly. "Its Nice to meet you as Well Jackal, please forgive my standoffish stance, Ive been travling for a long time."She relaxed her stance a little more, and lowered her horn so it was not at such a threatning position. She perked her ears forward watching him with her green orbs. She saw his orbs move down to her feet and she glanced down. They were covered in all sorts of different soils. And then it finally hit her. The distance her journey had come to her legs folded underneath her and she sank to the ground. letting out a sigh. She glanced up at him as he spoke once more. "Well Jackal, I have come to these lands looking for a herd, that will accept me and my unborn child in" She stated it felt good to be off her legs.

He took a startled step forward as her legs gave out from beneath her. He stopped himself when he realized she was fine but still cast a look of concern. He smiled warmly when she spoke of a home. Isn't that all anyone ever needed? A place to belong. He bobbed his head, his eyes a gentle gaze that softly caressed her feeble figure. "I can tell you seem to be in somewhat a precarious position. I would love to offer you a place to rest at ease. I know we have only just met, but my intentions are good ones. If you decide you would rather reside elsewhere after a good nights rest, than you may leave at your own will." He stated with all the honesty he could muster in an attempt to convey his true intent into his very words. He wanted her to know he could trust him. "I believe children are to be loved and cherished, life is a prize above all else. You and your unborn are very welcome to stay as long as you like in my forest if you wish." Upon completion of his thoughts he gave a bow a gesture of welcoming and of good will. And although he barely knew this mare, this Raven, he strongly wished that she would except his offer.

Raven glanced up at him as he moved towards her and she smiled slightly. "Oh please forgive me Jackal I've been so traveling and im just so tired'her ears perked forward as he spoke and offered her a place to rest for the night and if she wanted a home if she wanted. She smiled. That would be greatshe said and smiled. she rocked back on her haunches and stood up grunting slightly she shook out her mane and smiled to him I got a little bit of strength left in me why don't you show me our new homeShe said with a soft smile.
