No New Posts Deadman's Forest

The expanses of fields and meadows, the sweet water and cool breezes fade and die if they dare approach this land. After stepping over the threshold of life and warm landscapes, it is like a different world altogether. Void and barren, stepping over the bordering mesas at first reveals only burning sands and ancient petrified trees. The mesas and distant mountains produce the rain shadow effect, making the land lose much precipitation, and at the same time barring many winds from reaching this wasteland. Not long ago, two suicidal Downfall battles were fought here, and the sand-eroded bones are occasionally seen among the dunes. The only reconciliation that can be found is in the middle of this desert, where a large stream flows from the borders. Plant life is supported here, but even in this semi-utopia in the barrens, multiple perilous tar pits dot the landscape.

No New Posts Adroushan

A large valley area which where the herd mainly stays, there is little to no vegetation. Most of the horses live off of the dried up shrubs, water is fairly abundant, as a small pond has found its way west of the main camp. Dark is the word that most use to describe this place when you first encounter it. Why? Because when you enter into the depths of this valley, you are cast under the shadow of the lonely mountains and swallowed by the ever-present mists. The fog, it chills your bones and sends shivers down your spine. It sents your nerves on edge. You swear that you can almost hear someone laughing but no, it must have been the wind. Footsteps? Is someone there? It can't be. Then you feel the pain of being bitten at your throat and you gasp as the lifeblood begins to pour from the wound. Gagging, you drop down to your knees only to hear the laughter once more as shadows surround you laughing menacingly before they begin to feed upon your dying flesh. Adroushan means temple of fire-worship, Welcome home...

No New Posts Death's Jump

An old dirt-packed path gently winds and slopes up and over a long but short hill, leading past what was once Campfire Site. Washed out, tall and swaying timothy grass nearly hides the path but it is still there, luring any wanderers into a dark, black forest with its powerful, eerie presence. The Temperature starts to drop, the deeper one goes into the forest. The scent of death lingering in the air become more prominent. A murky fog lazily rolls over the mossy earth. The path continues, passing under a weather stained arc. A single word, hardly visible as it is missing some characters, names the spiral graveyard ' et S m tary'. It is exactly what it is thought to be. A cemetery. Tombstones and grave markers warp into a sickening spiral. But that isn't the main attraction. Follow the path and you come to a softly green glowing Deadfall. You must climb it, but climb over it steadily and quickly without looking down or else the sharp branches and thorns will collapse beneath you will claim your life. Unsurprisingly, the path continues from the Deadfall, running through a series of horrible locations. You will see things in the mist, that reflect your innermost fear. And you will hear things, but those are just from the loons. The sound carries...it is quite humorous. There are beasts in the woods that will come after you. But those are also fragments of your imagination...maybe. After the hallucinogenic journey, you at last reach the Micmac Burying grounds. Rumors and Legends say that the dead buried there would rise again. But beware, for this is the place where your worst nightmare's soon become reality as your finally picked as one of the weak and chased throwout Deadfall over Deaths Jump!

Herd Terrain: Lush lands with many hidding spots, but dangerous for the well experienced fighters
Herd Description: Upon entering Felwood, one could see nothing but a vast empty plain. However, this plain gives way to a forest so dark, that it would seem that no one would be able to find their way through it. An old dirt-packed path gently winds and slopes up and over a long but short hill, leading past what was once Stained Gates. Be warned, the king of shadows darkens the path of all who cross the doorstep into his herem. This land is one you would never want to step foot on. It's seducing just as the Darks are, its lush dense forest supply many hiding places. Watch where you walk, New herd members are accepted here and kept around for several days to see if they can handle the pressure of the deathly smells around them. Prisoners are held for questioning in the underground caverns as well, although they aren’t so lucky and are not allowed out of sight, You might just get caught. It may look small, but that's because may many oak, fruit, maple and other trees, including black saw briarrars, black poisonous sticker-bushes and many other poisonous plants. They say the horses of the land rub the poisonous plants on their hooves when in battle, but no one knows for sure. The land has some mountians also, called The Dark Peaks which leads to Death's Jump, but that leads totally the in lands. Some say it's about two thousand acres, others seven thousand. But no one knows. One small lake supplies the horses with water. Undiscovered pla
